Faces
Hidden behind a pile of books I spent my high school years drawing ugly faces replete with scowls, pimples, deep lines and hair. As a young carver I wished I knew how to carve faces and realized I already knew!
Gift that special person in your life an Alabaster carved face. | ||

The Alabaster hand carved faces are intriguing - they bring happiness, inner peace and celebration of life to any environment. Light fills each unique face with a translucent glow and placing them near a lit candle creates an inviting ambiance. The Alabaster faces are also great greeters centered in an office foyer or lobby.
In stone, they're not ugly they're elegant and have great character. Two genres of my carved faces have developed over the years – the Buddha Faces and the Characters. Into both I love inlaying their gemstone eyes.

"The Great Pink Face"
It was a singular and elegant in shape piece of the Pink Alabaster which beckoned to be given face on its broad surface. Because my spirit loves to crawl into and be cradled by the stone I managed to carve out a narrow opening in its body.
