July brings the annual Carbondale Mountain Fair to the Roaring Fork Valley. In its 39th year, the fair brings together arts, culture, entertainment, young and old together for three days of celebration. Besides the high quality of musical acts, there are also dance performances, the Earthbeat Choir, excerpts from Suessical and other kids activities and entertainment. This year the fair opens at noon on Friday with Arts and Crafts vendors only. This is to give focus to the incredible array of artisans the fair brings.

The 2010 Old Town Art Fair will be held June 12th – 13th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain and shine. The main gate of the Old Town Art Fair is located at Lincoln Avenue and Wisconsin Street.

The 5th Annual Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, April 10 & 11, 2010, is a juried fine art festival featuring 200 national and regional artists selling their original creations along a 1.25 mile waterway and waterside park in this affluent community. Art patrons enjoy ample free parking, trolleys, water taxis and a spectacular venue. Ongoing performing arts, interactive art activities for children, and great food offerings from select area restaurants make this a festival everyone can enjoy. Proceeds from the Festival benefit local charity partners involved in bringing greater fine arts experiences to the community and student art scholarships. Artists set up along a concrete landscaped path beside the waterway that runs through The Woodlands Town Center from The Marriott Waterway Hotel and Convention Center past The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and Town Green Park.
